Liek Wow, Metroid Prime sure has some nicely placed platforms! Oh and to top it off this leads to a variety of sequence breaking techs you can pull off to get stuff early. Early Space Jump boots at the landing site via the use of your ship and the Scan Visor. To get the Space Jumps early **(NOTE: This is harder to do if you have the Greatest Hits/Later versions of Metroid Prime. As these other versions require you to do it legit and does NOT allow for any real sequence breaking to be done.)**
Get to the Right most back part of your ship looking towards the door leading to the artifact temple. Lock onto the orange light in the far off tree. Press Right on the Control Stick and B at the same Time and then immediatly let go and you will fly to the right and land on a ledge.
From there, you make two jumps and the boots are yours!
